Classic Suzuki Parts started out of passion for the two stroke bikes from Marcel Vlaandere. Since the day I became 18 years old (7-1-1982) I prefered the Suzuki series above all the other motorcycle brands. After riding a GT 250, T 500 and a GT 750 I have had a number of other bikes, but I returned to my old love (GT 750 M) like a lot of Suzuki fans do. In 1994 I moved to Bolsward for a new job. An old friend of mine owned a complete shed filled with T and GT stuff which he wanted to sell  because he lost his interest in the two stroke hobby. This shed was packed to the roof with parts. After I took some parts for my private stock, I had to advertise with the rest because it was just too much. The consequence of this action was that people came from all over the country and paid me a visit. The question why there was not a T and GT club in Holland was  asked many times. A lot of people thought that I was the right person to set up the club because of my stock and connections. In June 1997 I organised a T and GT day, it was a bit of a trail to see if there was any demand for such  thing. 110 fanatics made the trip to Bolsward. I did not expect more than 50 people so I was very pleased. Because of this succesfull day I started the T and GT ownersgroup which became an official club in 1999 with about 200 members and still growing. In April 1999 I tried my luck and I became an official motorbike trader. To turn your hobby into your work (because I still feel it that way) is the best thing that can happen to anyone. I know that the future in the T and GT bikes is not something that will last forever but if I can work some years in this hobby, I will go for it. Well, this is just a little picture of me and the foundation of Classic Suzuki  Parts. Hopefully we will meet and talk some time in person.
Kind regards, Marcel Vlaandere.
